Wembley Rugby League
Publisher: Audiogenic Software · Developer: Denton Designs
Having previously recreated the more popular Rugby Union with World Class Rugby, Audiogenic turned their attention to Rugby League, using the same game engine. The main difference in Rugby League is that a team must give the ball away after six tackles. This often leads to risky maneuvers on the 5th tackle, especially when recovering the ball from the opposition, allowing a new set of six tackles. After a tackle, the ball is played back by what is known as "play-the-ball." Unlike Union, there are no line-outs, but scrums at touchdowns or when the ball is lost.
