Gameblabla's Crappy Compilation

3DO Interactive Multiplayer · WOR

Gameblabla's Crappy Compilation is an unofficial homebrew game collection that, with plenty of humor and retro charm, pays tribute to the early experimental days of the 3DO. Developed by Gameblabla, a well-known indie and homebrew programmer, the compilation brings together several small mini-games—some parodying classic genres, others completely absurd original creations. It includes everything from a simple shooter to a blocky racing game and quirky reaction and skill challenges. The title doesn't take itself seriously: graphics and sound are intentionally minimalist, the menus are basic, and many jokes are hidden in the game names or absurd dialogue. On a technical level, the compilation also serves as a showcase for the 3DO homebrew scene, demonstrating that new content can still be created decades after the console's official end. Despite its name, Gameblabla's Crappy Compilation is more of a love letter than “crappy”—a playful piece of 3DO fan culture.
