Mental Image Disk 1 is a collection of three games. Rebound is a Breakout clone that is played horizontally. You move your bat up and down the right edge of the screen, which is strange at first but quickly learned. Power-ups can reverse the controls and add extra challenge. The Invaders is a Defender-style shoot 'em up. In the year 2625, you defend the Quantox base against the invading Xaragonians after Earth has been invaded by them. Gridrunner is an arcade game similar to Centipede. You control a ship at the bottom of a grid and must shoot down chains of capsules before they reach you. Meanwhile, cannons attack from the side and below, putting pressure on you from multiple directions. Twenty waves must be dealt with.
