Textris is a puzzle game for the Commodore Amiga based on the popular Tetris concept, but adding an interesting and creative twist. Instead of stacking the classic geometric shapes, the challenge in Textris is to maneuver falling letters to form meaningful words - both horizontally and vertically. These words are then removed to make room for new letters. The basic gameplay remains true to the familiar Tetris principle: letters fall from above, and the player must rotate and place them on the board to form the most efficient combinations possible.
