In this game, you play as a police officer patrolling dangerous Los Angeles streets where rebellious youth threaten public safety. Your objective is to shoot approaching troublemakers who may throw firebombs, while avoiding turret fire from buildings and the risk of being hit by traffic while crossing intersections. At certain intersections, you must eliminate a gang before they escape. This reveals a hostage situation where you must shoot the captor without harming the woman, as hitting her costs 1000 points. You earn points for walking and eliminating enemies, but lose 100 points for accidentally shooting an innocent pedestrian.
