The Shogun who stole the Golden Tail and used its power to lay siege to Osaka Castle was unaware that the talisman would reveal its true evil nature. The lands became cursed and monsters were summoned. The evil Bismahan shattered and scattered the talisman into 30 pieces throughout the valley and the castle. A prophecy says that the Golden Tail can be restored, perhaps this time for better rather than worse. You play as ninja spy Kitsune on a quest to recover all the pieces of the talisman in hopes of restoring law and order to the land.
