You play as Marco Polo, the famous explorer who have to move from Venice to Asia to the empire of the great Khan. You will need to raise money, charter a ship, and hire a crew. Luckily, it turns out that the King of Venice needs to send an urgent letter to the Khan, and after a little persuasion, you manage to convince him that you are trustworthy enough to deliver the precious letter to him. You will receive a gold advance for your services and can use it to finance the trip. However, you will face other troubles during this long journey. Pirates and impassable terrain stand in your way. Solutions for progress can be found on small clay tablets buried in the sand. By using the HELP command, you can receive a hint from the computer.
