In PULZAR, you control a spacecraft attempting a risky escape through deep space while being actively hunted by galactic police force patrols. The twist: the sector of space you're escaping through is experiencing severe solar bursts and cosmic radiation emitted by a dying pulsar star. Solar radiation sweeps across the screen in periodic pulses. Timing your movements to avoid high-energy radiation fields is essential for survival. Galactic police ships navigate the grid, requiring quick reflexes and maneuverability to dodge. Unlike standard shoot-'em-ups, the core loop focuses heavily on spatial awareness, rhythmic dodging and precise positioning within a single screen/grid layout.
