Pyramids is a variation on the domino theme. The twist is that instead of matching up half-tiles with the correct number of dots, you have to match up colours on up to 4 sides. The pyramids fit together on a grid. The idea is to score more points than your opponent. A point is scored for each colour matched up, so keep a look out for those high-scoring opportunities! You have no choice over the pyramids you're given to place, which are created with randomly-coloured faces. Press 'R' to rotate the pieces in 90 degres steps, in order to align the faces with other pieces. Use The cursor keys for the blue square which controls the position of your pieces. Press Space to place it. Towards the end of the game, it'll get increasingly difficult to place your pieces. If you can't see anywhere to go, press 'P' to pass. If this is done several times consecutively by both players, the game comes to an end.
