Turris offers brain-massaging strategy in its purest form. The towers are built on a 6x6 square game board. With each move, the builder places a floor on a square that is still free or has already been built on. Depending on the number of their direct neighbors, the different squares can "take" towers of different heights: A tower on a corner square collapses when it is 2 high. Squares on one of the edges of the game board start to shake at a height of 3, and all other squares collapse at a height of 4. When a tower collapses, it distributes its "floors" evenly to the surrounding fields. These then become the property of the person who owned the "exploded" tower. Floors that were already on the "newly conquered" fields - regardless of who owned them - also become the property of the "conqueror". In this way, unexpected chain reactions can occur, which is what makes the game so exciting. The winner is the person who can drive the opponent off the field with their towers.
