Destiny is a graphical adventure game for the Apple II, notable for replacing the traditional text parser with a menu-driven interface and featuring impressive graphics for its time. Set in the fantasy land of Adventura, players embark on a quest to restore a once-prosperous kingdom that has fallen under the control of Orcan warriors and the fearsome red dragon, Faldrakrin. King Ecreip III decreed that only the wisest and bravest hero who could defeat the dragon would inherit the throne, but he died before anyone succeeded. Sir Marcos Dracos previously attempted the challenge and never returned. Players must explore the dangerous land, solve puzzles, overcome enemies and obstacles, and uncover the mystery of the Crystal Key. Success requires careful observation, problem-solving, and survival skills as you determine your own destiny and attempt to reclaim Adventura from evil.
