Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards is a comedic graphic adventure that follows Larry Laffer, a socially awkward middle-aged bachelor, as he searches for romance in the seedy city of Lost Wages. Using Sierra's AGI engine, players explore locations, solve puzzles, and interact with a colorful cast of characters while guiding Larry through a series of humorous and often embarrassing situations. Inspired by the 1981 text adventure Softporn Adventure, the game introduced many series staples, including Larry's trademark white leisure suit, his endless bad luck with women, and its trademark adult-oriented humor. Originally released in 1987 for PC DOS and Apple II, the game became a surprise hit, spawning a long-running franchise and later receiving enhanced remakes in 1991 and 2013.
