The plot of Bad Company is quickly told: The earth is dying and humanity needs new worlds to colonize, the Nu-Worlds. You and your companion (optional) have the task of erasing these hostile extraterrestrial insectoids. Bad Company is played in a third person 3D view which is very similar to Space Harrier games. Before you start playing, you choose one of the 8 soldiers of your player. Each has it's own characteristics that impact the gameplay. You will be faced with several extraterrestrial types, including level bosses. You fight these enemies using one of the 4 available weapons systems (the equipment can be changed during the game). You have a complete control of the movement on your character which means that the player movement is an push-scrolling type unlike comparable games. You can also cover yourself behind certain obstacles or choose to explode them. The game extends over 4 levels.
