Hole-In-One Golf is a simulation-style game that focused on traditional 18-hole golf courses. It supports 1 to 8 players, allowing for large group play. Players used the joystick to select clubs and control the strength and direction of the shot. It featured a mechanic for adding hook or slice to the ball. It uses a top-down perspective for the fairways and transitioned to a dedicated putting screen once you reached the green. Interestingly, the greens in this version were always flat, simplifying the putting game significantly compared to later sims.
