The goal is to help the player to gain the ability to detach himself from his identifications in order to see how he might become a better player. For this game is like a microcosm of the larger game: In the 72 squares of the game board is contained the essence of thousands of years of self-exploration, the heart of Indian tradition. As the player moves from square to square, he begins to see patterned processes in his own existence that emerge with ever deeper clarity as his understanding of the game grows. Themore the degree of his detachment increases the more he recognizes each state as temporary, as something to be passed through and transcended. Because the essential quality of the player is his ability to identify, his only chance of winning the game is to identify his source, his origin. This is the Cosmic Consciousness, the essence of pure Being, which knows no boundaries and transcends time and space. The game ends when the player becomes himself, the essence of the game.
