Nil Dieu Vivant (also known as Day of the Pharaoh) is a strategy game focused on the action taking place in ancient Egypt. You start as descendant of the pharaoh which was exiled from his kingdom. Your mission is to return to Cairo and claim your throne. You must prove your value to the inhabitants of Egypt by conquering neighboring land and defending your kingdom against the attack. You can make offerings to various Egyptian gods in the hope of divine help, marry a bride to make sure that your line will continue if you fall in battle, waves with neighboring countries, etc. To build the different structures, you will have to find different types of raw materials which you don't have, so you will be forced to conquer your neighbors from the start. The fight takes place in action. You will ride in a royal chariot, pulling arrows on the invaders who will launch you. Divine favors, when granted, can lead to a complete annihilation of your enemies, but these depend mainly on luck.
