The game recreates the experience of a British-style pub slot machine. Unlike simple Las Vegas slots, fruit machines involve more strategy through the use of Holds and Nudges. The main screen features a standard 3-reel setup with classic fruit symbols (cherries, lemons, bells, etc.). After certain spins, the game awards you Nudges. You can use these to manually move a specific reel down one position to complete a winning combination. Occasionally, you are given the option to hold one or more reels in place while the others spin, increasing your chances of hitting a jackpot. Typical of the genre, the game often includes a hi-lo gamble feature where you can risk your current winnings or double them by guessing if the next number will be higher or lower.
