The Book of Lore belonging to your master, Buboe the Gross, has been stolen by the Archmage Berk the Mad. As his loyal apprentice, you volunteered to retrieve it from the tunnels beneath Beurkwood. Numerous traps, puzzles, locked doors and monsters stand in your way. Not to mention the Archmage himself! Without his Book of Lore, your master is nearly helpless. You have only your wits, a magic torch, a magic rocket and whatever else you can find along the way. There are 10 levels of tunnels beneath Beurkwood. Your master's book is located somewhere on the deepest level. The more time you spend on each level, the more likely you are to be found by a monster. You might even meet Berk himself!
