Acid Drops

"Acid Drops" is a classic shoot-'em-up where you move along the bottom of the screen, shooting at attacking creatures. In the center, a large acid pool continuously drips – if your character is hit by the drops or enemy projectiles, you lose a life. The game also ends if all the acid is depleted. There are three enemy types: moths, which transform into pods upon contact with acid and eventually mutate into spinners that require two hits to destroy. The goal is to escape through a gate on the right side, which gradually opens and unlocks faster when enemies are hit. After each successful level, a tunnel sequence follows, where you must dodge obstacles – crashing results in losing the point bonus but does not end the game. There are a total of nine levels.
