In the sequel to Galaforce you have once again shoot aliens. This time different ones. The gameplay is similar to Galaforce, but you aren't told if you are in the next level, instead it immediately goes to the next level. There are also items now, which can either help you or hinder you and there is a 2-player mode which is in turns.
