Alesian Plains begins on a wide plain, where an unnatural voice speaks to you and tells of a portal that may lead you onward. Through text commands, you explore the surroundings, choose your paths, and try to discover where this mysterious place will take you. The sparse presentation leaves plenty of room for imagination and immediately creates the feeling of an enigmatic departure. This results in a classic text adventure that combines curiosity, orientation, and the appeal of an unknown world.
