Altarius

Altarius is an unfinished preview of a horizontally scrolling space shooter. You control a spacecraft through a starfield and fight through various waves of enemy ships. The surviving version provides unlimited lives, allowing all of the preview's enemy types to be encountered before a large guardian ship eventually appears. After that, the game continues in an endless loop, so the intended full objective can no longer be determined with certainty.
