"Asgard" sets you in a race to settle newly discovered islands after the northern lands grow overcrowded under King Arne. You build your settlement on Yrum, Asanor, or Basengard by constructing houses, fields, mills, mines, and fishing huts, while also placing towers for defense and bridges for expansion. Each building generates income per round, but natural conditions like wind or disasters can reduce or destroy production. Armies are needed for defense or attack but require upkeep and morale suffers if they are underfunded. Strategic planning and adaptation to nature determine your success. Play solo or with up to seven players – though there are no AI opponents.
