Automan is based on the 1980s TV show and puts you in the role of the glowing computer super-detective hunting down an evil clone created by a criminal organization. On the platform screens you collect evidence and key items, avoid deadly traps and explore interconnected rooms that often require detours to reach certain spots. Once you have gathered everything you need, you switch to a 3D driving section where you navigate a maze to reach the next location. The bottom info bar keeps track of your position, score and collected items. Automan combines classic flick-screen exploration with short, fast driving segments, capturing the feel of the series surprisingly well.
