Axis Assassin has you gliding across abstract grid fields while facing an ever-growing threat. You move your ship freely across the grid, dodging enemy attacks and dangerous webs while firing carefully aimed shots to clear the screen. Each round increases speed and pressure until a powerful foe appears, forcing a risky decision about when to use your single special weapon. If you destroy all enemies, the grid pulls you onward into deeper, more demanding stages.
