B.A.T. puts you in the role of an agent of the Bureau of Astral Troubleshooters in a dark cyberpunk future of the 22nd century. Working for the Confederation of Galaxies, you take on a variety of missions involving espionage, investigation, and travel across different planets. Much of the game focuses on exploring futuristic locations, talking to characters, and collecting important items. Combat occurs randomly and uses a real-time system in which you must prepare, evade attacks, and fight back effectively.
