Bat Attack is a Galaxian clone, in which you control a ship that must avoid the attack of enemy bats moving left and right and try to destroy them by firing a single-shot missile that is recharged when a bat is hit or when it reaches the top of the screen. The bats attack you both, firing bullets and diving toward the bottom: if you are hit by a bat or by a bullet, you lose one of the three lives that you have at the beginning of the game. After destroying all the bats, you play a transition stage where you must avoid some disc-shaped obstacles to reach the next level, where more bats are ready to destroy you
