„Beneath the Tenement“ is a platform game where the player must collect diamonds and escape through the green door to complete the level. Movement through the maze of ladders, ropes, and platforms is controlled via joystick or keyboard. Obstacles such as rolling boulders and poisonous scorpions pose a constant threat – but can be avoided with precise jumps. A time limit adds pressure – while bonus points are awarded for collected diamonds and remaining time. Various difficulty levels provide an adjustable challenge, and high scorers can enter the Hall of Fame.
