Bering puts you in the role of a whale trying to survive against hostile fishermen. Mines, harpoons, and torpedoes must be avoided while you also need to feed regularly and surface to breathe. Plankton serves as your food supply and is gradually consumed during play. Once all the plankton has been eaten, you advance to the next tide with new dangers.
