Blap 'n Bash puts the player in the role of a captured alien trapped in a space cell. To escape, the player must use a spacebat to hit a ball and destroy all bricks in each intergalactic zone. Helpful aliens appear during the game to assist, while red zones must be avoided – if the ball hits a red zone, a shield is lost, and losing all shields costs a life. Bonus points are awarded for any shields remaining after completing a level. Power-ups can be collected to enhance the fun.
