Block Hopper is a charming and well-made Q-Bert clone game. It allows up to two players to take on the role of a charismatic character who must hop across a pyramid-shaped arrangement of blocks to change the playing field and beat the level. Like the original Q-Bert, the goal in Block Hopper is to activate or change each block on the playing surface by jumping, while enemy creatures and obstacles put players under pressure. Using strategic movements and quick dodging, players must completely change the block area without being hit by enemies.
