Bozuma: The Mystery of The Mummy is set in Hamburg in the year 1912, where you take on the role of a detective investigating a mysterious case involving a mummy and its supposed curse, accompanied by your partner Wilhelm. The goal is to gather enough evidence within a week to present your findings to your superior – only then is the game won. It's a point-and-click adventure focused on realistic detective work: most of your time is spent analyzing clues and talking to people. There are no traditional puzzles – instead, the challenge lies in deciding which of the 186 locations to visit next and how to convince people to cooperate. The game also includes real-life tasks like sleeping, eating, or refueling. These don't require special skills, but they do consume time and money.
