Brighton Strand mixes seaside bustle, business sense and British humor into an unusual contest for quick money. With an ice cream van, supplies are planned, prices are set and as many ice creams as possible are sold, while chance events and odd surprises can threaten the profit at any time. Its appeal lies in calculating, reacting and trying to turn a summer day by the sea into a small fortune.
