Carry on Laughing puts you in the role of Mr Livewire, whose task is to tidy up the eccentric school of St. Hexidecimals. In each classroom you must turn large X marks into ticks while avoiding the many characters, creatures and roaming hazards. A room is only cleared once every mark has been changed and Mr Livewire reaches the end of the bar. Arrows on the walls lead to other classrooms, and ladders, bars or even rising bubbles allow you to reach higher levels. If an enemy touches you, you lose a life and all progress resets – so staying focused is the only way to bring order step by step.
