CORE: Cybernatic Organism Recovery Expedition sends Mr Andrew Angello to an attacked asteroid whose central system is still emitting faint signals. Among the traces of an alien assault, he searches for bio-memory chips to recover clues about the attackers' weapons and plans. What begins as the exploration of a seemingly lost station becomes an important rescue mission – whoever finds the needed data can help protect other colonies from the same fate.
