Crack
Commodore 64 · 1990 · WOR
· Developer: Oliver Kirwa
Crack shows an early version of the idea later used in Build-It: The Bauhaus and has you arrange colored tiles into matching squares. You move through a single room, pick up split blocks, rotate them when needed, and try to create same-colored patterns before new problems appear. Even as a preview, the game hints at the appeal of the later puzzle concept – whoever reads the colors well, plans routes, and avoids dangerous tools gets closer to the solution.
