The Curse of Ra is a puzzle game in which the player (Scarab) must escape from a pyramid by solving riddles. The player must remove all the stones from a board by finding their counterparts. Only two stones with the same symbol can be removed at a time and they must lie in a straight line, horizontally or vertically. Not all the stones can be moved, and there are teleporters, obstacles and diversions to make the game more difficult. There are also traps, such as ice that forces Scarab to move in one direction only.
