Darkipede delivers a twisted take on the familiar Centipede formula and focuses on fast, direct action in a dark setting. Rather than taking its time, the game throws you straight into frantic action where you have to react to attacking creatures and keep the screen under control. That simple but effective idea gives it a sharp arcade appeal that works immediately and gives the game its own small identity.
