Davy: King of the Wild Frontier puts you in the role of Davy, stripped of his gear, clothes, and girlfriend by Indians. In this side-view flick-screen game, you must move from left to right across each screen to retrieve clothing or equipment pieces. On every screen, an Indian appears, hurling arrows or tomahawks that you must dodge by ducking or jumping. Later stages introduce rivers you must cross on moving logs, as well as snakes and cacti once your girlfriend has been rescued. With only three lives, survival depends on quick reflexes and careful timing.
