Dawn of the Nasty is a vertically scrolling shooter where you battle through hostile suburban streets, either solo or in co-op. Playing as Harold or Darren Booth, you guide one of the characters with a joystick, avoiding obstacles and firing at waves of enemies. The goal is to survive as long as possible and take down as many foes as you can, all to a driving soundtrack.
