In Death Wish 3 you take the role of vigilante Paul Kersey as he patrols the streets of New York to fight violent street gangs. After a friend of his is killed, Kersey helps the police by taking the fight directly to the criminals who are terrorizing the city. He has access to several weapons including a magnum revolver, shotgun, machine gun and even a rocket launcher. A bulletproof vest protects him from several hits, but taking too much damage ends the mission. As you move through streets and buildings you must be careful not to shoot civilians or police officers, who will turn against you if attacked. The game interface provides information such as crime reports, your equipment, ammunition and a map showing important locations like weapons and bosses.
