In Don't Paint the Cat you must recognize and compare pitches correctly while trying not to make a mess of painting the garden fence. You hear selected notes from the neighbor's music and have to decide whether the second note is higher or lower than the first. Each correct answer makes the tune longer and the challenge more difficult. If you answer incorrectly or take too long, the painting continues – and in the end even the cat by the fence might get covered in paint. The game combines ear training with a humorous setup and gradually increases the difficulty.
