Droid Dreams puts you in control of a droid aboard a spaceship who escapes boredom by becoming a hero in his dreams. In one such dream, the ship is in danger, and only you can save it. To succeed, you must collect objects and place them in the correct locations, all while hostile droids, electric shocks, and bombs block your path. You must also monitor your oil level, which gradually decreases but can be replenished through specific actions. The game is presented in a side-scrolling view, where you move left and right to complete your mission.
