Harvey Smith Showjumper lets you compete alone or against up to five other players in show jumping events across multiple courses. You select a course and guide your horse through the arena from a side view, with the screen scrolling as you ride. The objective is to clear each fence in the correct order and finish with the fastest possible time. Knocking down a fence adds penalty time, while jumping the wrong one results in elimination. You control the horse's speed, but mistimed jumps can cause refusals or even throw you off. After each run, standings are displayed, and you can also name your horses and design custom courses for added replay value.
