Escape from Metropolis is an action game where the player must escape from the dark catacombs of Metropolis. After cruel experiments by the scientist Rotwang, humans have been transformed into cybernetic slaves. As a revolt breaks out, the player seizes the opportunity to escape, but the path to the surface is fraught with danger. Players can choose between two control options — one for greater firepower and another for increased agility. To reclaim their humanity and freedom, they must fight through numerous enemies.
