In ESP you test your ability for extrasensory perception using a deck of Zener cards. These cards display five possible symbols: a circle, square, cross, star and wavy lines. In each round the computer secretly selects a card from a deck of 25, and your task is to guess which symbol it contains. Using the joystick you move a pointer to your chosen symbol and confirm your guess, after which the card is revealed and your score is updated. Once all 25 cards have been shown, the program evaluates your performance and lets you either start another round or review your previous scores. The game acts as a small experiment, challenging you to see whether intuition can predict what the computer will reveal.
