"Europe Ablaze" puts you in command of hundreds of aircraft, planning strategic air battles over Britain, France, and Germany during World War II. As Reichsmarschall Göring or Air Chief Marshal Portal, you set priorities and tactical doctrines while observing daily events and their consequences. Alternatively, as a fleet commander, you can directly plan missions, determine attack vectors, and carefully manage resources. Up to 12 players can share air command roles, or you can leave everything to the AI to study strategies. Hex-based maps, dynamic weather, and a campaign editor provide deep planning opportunities and high replay value.
