Explorer 2

Commodore 64 · 1986 · WOR

Also known as: Explorer II (EU)

Publisher: Tronic Verlag · Developer: Gabriel Winkler

Explorer II places you in a tense intergalactic conflict where Terra must launch a daring diversionary attack to buy time. With your heavy cruiser, you strike the Agamer planet and try to cause as much destruction as possible, distracting the enemy from its plans of conquest. Along the way, you are not only fired upon by planetary defense systems, but also hunted by hostile air forces. That desperate setup gives the game its driving appeal and turns the mission into a risky fight against an overwhelming threat.
