Fears of Darkness is an unfinished preview of a side-scrolling action game clearly inspired by Turrican. You control an armed character through large environments, jumping over obstacles, exploring different areas, and fighting enemies along the way. Displays for energy and other game values suggest a broader adventure with additional mechanics that were never fully completed. Development ended in 1994, leaving only a promising early version behind.
