The Forest of Doom tells the story of a cautious adventurer who takes on a perilous quest in the dark woods of Darkwood. After the death of the dwarf Bigleg, his last words lead the hero to the wizard Yaztromo, who equips him with magical items for survival. The mission: to recover the lost dwarven runes that Mayor Gillibran needs to protect Stonebridge from deadly hill trolls. Every choice shapes the adventure – encounters, battles, and fate unfold through text, chance, and strategy, while the game handles your stats, inventory, and combat automatically.
